A Note From The Principal
Dear Roosevelt Families,
I cannot believe it is already November! This school year is flying by.
Coming up at the beginning of the month, we will be holding some parent teacher conferences on November 9th from 3:15-5:15 pm. If your child’s teacher has requested a conference with you, they have been in contact with you already. Please know some schools follow different schedules for conferences and it may be noted on the district calendar, but Roosevelt will not have any conferences on November 22nd. As always, if you have questions or concerns about your student, feel free to contact your student’s teacher at any time.
With the first quarter of the year wrapping up, it is a great time to continue those conversations with your student(s) about what they are learning in literacy, math, and science/social studies, and how they are using Conscious Discipline in the classroom. Ask them about strategies they have learned and are applying, new concepts they have tried, and what they are most engaged in right now!
Our Thanksgiving Break will take place Wednesday, November 22nd through Friday, November 24th. We hope you have a wonderful holiday and will see you back at school on Monday, November 27th.
