Letter from the Interim Principal
Dear Families,
I hope everyone has time to connect with family and friends next week and enjoy your favorite activities. I am grateful for the time to relax, be with family, eat good food, and watch a lot of football.
Next week is also a time for me to give thanks, both personally and professionally. Professionally, I enjoy being your interim principal, watching our students grow academically and socially. Roosevelt Elementary School is a great place to be.
Sincerely,
Mr. Hatlen
Interim Principal

Important Student Drop Off Information
This is a reminder to review drop off procedures in the morning and afternoon at Roosevelt. Please make sure all students are dropped off in the drop off areas either on Tyler or Coolidge Street. Be sure to watch signs for where you may park and where there is a no parking area. Parents may park on the side of the road and walk their child up or drop off their child on the side of the road once pulled over onto the terrace. Please NEVER drop children off in the middle of the road. This is very unsafe and we do not want anyone to get hurt. There are safety patrols at all corners around the school block, so students are to cross ONLY at the corners with a safety patrol there to help them. Families are able to drop off on Sawyer Street and students can walk around to the back of the school to line up as well. Please make sure you are following the same parking procedures at pickup time also.
