A Note from the Principal
Dear Roosevelt Families,
This year we will be holding some parent teacher conferences on November 7th from 3:15-5:15pm. If your child’s teacher has requested a conference, they have been in contact with you already. Please know some schools follow different schedules for conferences and it may be noted on the district calendar, but Roosevelt will not have any conferences at the end of November. As always, if you have questions or concerns about your child, feel free to contact your child(ren)’s teacher at any time.

If your student will NOT be eating breakfast, please drop them off on the playground at 7:30 am. Breakfast is done being served at 7:35 am.
PBIS...Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support “The Roosevelt Way” Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe
Our October monthly mash-up focused on family. Students talked about what the word family means to them and how it connects to their Roosevelt family. Students worked together to color the letters in the word and took a mash-up family photo. The photo is placed outside of their classroom.
As students earn beep bucks for following the Roosevelt Way, students can spend their beep bucks at the school store! This is a way to reward students who are being respectful to others, responsible, and safe within our school. Each quarter the school store menu changes, so students can have a variety of things to choose from. This quarter our school store has school supplies, Halloween themed items, chew gum for the day coupon, erasers, pencils, sunglasses, and Roosevelt t-shirts.
Roosevelt Gift Store
In December, we are again having a holiday gift shopping store for the students. Students will be able to use their beep bucks to “buy” gifts for family members.
We still need donations for the Holiday Store. Please bring all donations to the office or to your classroom teacher by December 2nd. Thank you in advance!
Donation examples: small toys, small knick-knacks, puzzles, games, coloring books, teddy bears, gift cards, vases, candles, picture frames, “dad gifts”, “mom gifts”, etc.
Student of the Month
Each month Roosevelt staff nominate students who are following the Roosevelt Way for “Student of the Month” awards. Congratulations to the following students who earned the honor in September: Isaac, Nova, Nora, Minnie, Damian, Arieanna, Toheed, Sidney, Ryan, Evalynn, and Evolet.
Parents Are Invited!
We would love to have you join us for our monthly Mash-Up lesson. Students and staff work together in teams of mixed grade levels to complete an activity related to our weekly social skills lessons. Parents can join in on the fun and learning with their child’s Mash-Up group.
Please be our guest at the next Mash-Up!
